NBA 2K13 ALL Star Weekend | ᶠᶸᶜᵏᵧₒᵤ #Socialflyte 

As the features for NBA 2K13 slowly start to reveal, we get a brief look at another feature in this year’s title. 2K Sports releases a new NBA 2K13 trailer, this time focusing on the All-Star Weekend content.

If you havent already seen it, the trailer shows current stars from D. Rose to Lebron, to the OG’s like Larry & Magic participating in the action, showing All-Star content you’d expect to see during the actual weekend: the Rising Stars game, the 3-point contest, and Sprite’s Slam Dunk contest (Blake Griffin & the Kia included), showing off dunk controls which look very Guitar Hero-ish. Sit back and check out all the visuals, with music provided by Jay-Z, of course. UH, POINT OUT THE BOUNCE!!

After having Michael Jordan featured in the previous two installments of 2K’s basketball sim, this time around 2K Sports decided to give cover rights to Kevin Durant, Derrick Rose and Blake Griffin. Jason Argent of 2K Games stated “We selected what we believe are the three most exciting youngest, hottest players in the league to grace the cover of our game this year”; and in my opinion with the exception of LBJ, what better three players to have gracing this year’s cover. With NBA 2K shifting back into traditional cover art form with current players, hopefully the developers can shift the franchise back to traditional game-play as well.
