For lifestyle purposes, the lowtop is an annual institution and we can only hope the same will happen with Nike LeBron X EXT successors.
This colorway is a beautiful melding of upscale materials with the vaunted ‘Tiffany’ black/mint combo, and with all the other suede-uppered EXT releases, Nike has targeted a vague release roughly two months from now. Breaking from his typical brand loyalty, ‘Ye was spotted on the set of Anchorman: The Legend Continues, wearing the adidas Originals Forum Mid.
We’re gonna guess that the outfit was put together by a costume designer rather than Mr. West himself, which perhaps explains the rare Three Stripes sighting. The Air Jordan V “Black Grape” will now release on June 15th. The sneaker’s coming out party has been pushed back just a little bit, perhaps to let the top of the month breathe a little bit more what with the two Air Jordan 1 ’93 styles arriving on the same day.
So far the most coveted of retros from 2013 have been OG flavored ones, but we’ve got a feeling the Air Jordan V “Black Grape” will finally shake things up a bit and have folks trying to track down this flip on a classic JB colorway. In fact, that combo of red, white, and blue plus elephant has us thinking “True Blue” a la the Air Jordan III.
