Jordan Spiz’ike “University Gold” Unreleased 2012 Sample | ᶠᶸᶜᵏᵧₒᵤ #Socialflyte

After a flurry of activity to start the year, the Jordan Spiz’ike last issued a new colorway back in March.  The handful that hit during the first quarter have given way to NIKEiD options at the forefront, with Jordan Brand designers likely preparing forthcoming colorways well ahead of their release dates.  One prototype design that never made it past the sample stage is this University Gold Spizike crafted last year, a ‘Candy Pack’-ish colorup that predated the suede iD options by several months (inner tags indicated Holiday 2012 intended release).  

You can get a similar colorway going with the newest 3M options online at NIKEiD right now, or consider bidding on this rare unreleased sample available now from jordunk23 on eBay.

Nike KD VI – Yellow – Blue | ᶠᶸᶜᵏᵧₒᵤ #Socialflyte 

It appears that the Nike KD VI will take things back to the low-hitting shape for Kevin Durant’s signature sneaker. The shape even looks a little lower than the Nike Zoom KD IV, with the cut having many folks calling out the foot-ball boot similarities.

So far the only colorway we’ve got a look at is this, a yellow and blue concoction that doesn’t quite line up with the OKC colors that we’re used to seeing first off on Durant’s stuff. How often do you a deadstock pair of the Air Jordan 1 in the original White/Red/Black colorway with the original box and hangtag? It’s definitely a rare occurrence, even with so many more opportunistic sellers looking to cash in on the vintage sneaker craze, but these are in such great shape (no visible cracking on the leather) that you might even be able to lace them up.

Air Jordan VIII “Suns” – Arriving at Retailers | ᶠᶸᶜᵏᵧₒᵤ #Socialflyte

Dropping next weekend is the first Retro colorway of the Air Jordan VIII – a mix of Black/Bright Citrus-Cool Grey-Deep Royal Blue that has adopted the “Suns” nickname. The connection between the Suns and the Air Jordan VIII is that this is the model that Jordan wore during the ’93 NBA Finals, downing Barkley and Suns in six games.

Although Deep Royal Blue isn’t an exact match to the rich purple in the Suns unis, we can definitely assert this colorway to that 1993 match-up! More photos below, so take a look and be sure to keep your eye out for these on May 18th as these are beginning to arrive at retailers like Citysole.
